Professional Experience

Part of Center for Digital Enginering team which supports on CAE, CFD and CAD aspects of product development. Contribued in designing of various EV transmissions, Clutch, Battery Disconnector Units for various customers like TESLA, Cummins, GM, HKMC and Ford Motors

Part of Cyber Physical Systems Group responsible for development and implementation of hybrid Mechanical-AI/ML techniques for various Industry sponsored projects.

Worked on two major projects in Supply Chain. First was ‘Designing of Warehouse Health Management Scorecard : Benchmarking of best Warehousing Practices across FMCG and across industries and creating a Scorecard' benchmarking of important scorecard templates, finding metrices to record. Second was ‘Warehouse Loading-Unloading of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCGs) Productivity Tracker’ involving development of template using VBA for determining and optimizing bay productivity for loading-unloading of FMCG goods.

Development of Cost Estimation Tool for Injection Moulded Polymer Products for Lighting Division, EIIC. The project aimed to develop a technique called “Design for Economy” which will help predict the price of final polymer products (both NPD and TPD) during the Design Stage itself by controlling the design, mfg. and material configurations.

Involved “Designing of Automated Guided Vehicle Utilities like Scrubber Motor Modelling (60W) and Squeegee Design (720W)” for specified requirements.

The task “Productivity Tracking for fleet management based on Object recognition using Computer Vision Techniques over low power-edge computing devices like Raspberry Pi and Android” involved the deployment of CNN models using Tensorflow on Raspberry Pi and Tensorlite on Android.

Delivered a Bachelor’s course on “Introduction to Internet of Things” using Proteus software as a Junior Expert Lecturer in a National Institute. Consulted the students for their Internet of Things projects.

Professional Activities

Led a team of IIT Bombay’s best techno savvies among all 23 IITs. Achieved a historic victory for IIT Bombay by securing overall First Runner Up among all 23 IITs with 13,000 participants.

Leading a team of 40+ members and contributing in the domains of Aero-structure, Controls and Software for AUVSI-SUAS International Challenge.

The Deep Learning-SRG comprised of Bachelors, Dual Degree, Masters and PhDs enthusiastic about Deep Learning advancement in Mechanical Department.

Resolved academic issues of 150+ Masters, PhD and Post Docs in Mechanical department. Initiated the Post Graduate Minors in Design, Thermal and Manufacturing for the institute along with Department Post Graduate Council.
